BALANCE uses state of the art hydraulic fluid interval training which simplifies fitness. Hydraulics create resistance in two directions causing a concentric or positive motion. Most of our machines have two hydraulic tubes, using a push-pull movement creating a double concentric or double positive motion. This double positive motion improves tone without breaking down muscle tissue, bulking up or soreness that is often associated with weight training. Our circuit training program consists of the hydraulic resistance pieces, alternated with cardio jogging or recovery stations. Sound familiar? Now, this is what makes our circuit workout unique! By changing the time of sprint intervals, the time of recovery between sprints (40-60 seconds), levels of resistance and intensity, and order of stations, the number of formats are limitless. This variety is the key to our success and unique to BALANCE. The elliptical trainer, treadmill and stationary recumbent bike, along with a variety of videos and DVD's, will supplement and customize your workout. We also offer handweights, Bosu and stability balls to allow you to customize your workout, try something new and have fun.
